January, 12, 2009 – American Bright Optoelectronics Corp. announced today the hiring of Robert E. Hojnacke as Sales and Marketing Director. Hojnacke brings three decades of experience in the industrial and commercial lighting markets to American Bright Optoelectronics Corporation and will be focused on continued development of American Bright as major stakeholder in the emerging solid-state lighting industry.Robert E. Hojnacke brings 30 years of sales and sales/marketing management experience in the electrical and electronic industrial and commercial markets to American Bright, last serving for twenty-four years with Osram-Sylvania in a variety of management roles. Hojnacke served from 2002 to 2008 as the Executive Sales Manager for the Osram-Sylvania General Lighting Business group. Hojnacke earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from California State University, Fullerton and his MBA from Pepperdine. He is also very active in the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES), National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) and, the Association of Independent Lighting Distributors (NAILD) where his involvement has kept him current on all major issues facing both industry manufacturers and distributors.
