Lighthouse installs two sets of LED screens at Hong Kong Stadium and Sevens Village

The tournament, held at Hong Kong Stadium, brought together 24 top rugby teams from across the globe for three days of world-class rugby competition. Started in 1976 by small group of volunteers with a passion for the sport, the tournament has become a larger-than-life visual experience for thousands of spectators that come from all over the world, thanks in part to the LED screens provided by official LED screen supplier, Lighthouse Technologies Ltd.Since 2005, Lighthouse screens have played a key supporting role at the Hong Kong Sevens, which celebrates 32 years of sevens rugby this year, by delivering rugby action and important information in dramatic color and clarity. The stadium screen measured 7x6 panels (7.11m (w) x 4.57m (h)), while the Sevens Village screen was 9x7 (9.14m (w) x 5.33m (h). Both screens deliver Lighthouse’s world-class image quality with great color accuracy and high resolution, ensuring that even the smallest details are visible. The stadium screen, a fixture of the event since 2006, is popular among spectators for its instant replays as well as other important match, tournament and sponsor information.Meanwhile, the LED screen in Sevens Village, a complimentary venue near the stadium, wowed rugby fans that were unable to buy tickets for the tournament with its incredible detail and impressive image quality and brightness. “The Lighthouse LED Screens have become an important part of the Hong Kong Sevens, in both the Stadium and the Sevens Village.
