Traxon Innovation in Action
Traxon’s award-winning Shield AC XB lighting system was selected to illuminate the world-famous Christ the Redeemer Monument in Rio de Janeiro. Best suited for wall washing and grazing applications where fixtures are located far from the control area or where complicated structural construction and extensive cabling or mounting is limited, the Shield AC XB was an ideal solution for the iconic monument, illuminating the 130-foot statue atop its 2,300-foot peak overlooking the city.

In downtown Detroit, Traxon & e:cue’s lighting and control products were used to create a dazzling, dynamic display at the prominent Millender Center Station – a hub of Detroit’s People Mover public transportation system. Traxon Graze XB, Media Tube and e:cue Lighting Control Engine fx and Butler XT helped transform the outdated station into a breathtaking mixed media experience.

The San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina is one of the foremost destinations for visitors to the San Diego Bay area. The hotel’s façade reflects the ocean’s beauty throughout the day and night. Traxon and e:cue helped redefine the landmark, adding 350 linear feet of architectural waves to line the entrance drive, Dot XL-3 RGB to smoothly backlight the waves and an intelligent Lighting Control Engine to allow programming of the signature blue, undulating light to be changed with ease.
