April 27, 2012
Date Announced: 27 Apr 2012 Phoseon Technology introduces the highest-powered member of theirair-cooled product line, the FireJet™ FJ200 series. These 8 W/cm2 products are designed for the coating and digital ink jet markets where rock-solid reliability and simple integration are key requirements.“This product pulls together a decade of technology development and ushers in a new era for UV LED curing,” said Bill Cortelyou, President and CEO of Phoseon Technology. “The combination of continuous high irradiance with uniform output and flexible scaling allows customers to implement LED curing into environments that were previously only attainable with water-cooled solutions.”The FireJet FJ200 UV LED lamp scales simply by placing a second unit next to the original. Phoseon’s unique optics ensure consistent uniformity at the substrate surface. The FJ200 is simple to integrate by being a fully self contained unit, not requiring external control boxes, and scaled systems are simply daisy-chained together. Additionally, the unit can be controlled via RS485 or PLC signals to provide for instant on-off and intensity control from 10-100%.Phoseon’s products differentiate themselves through superior performance, integrated control and real-world reliability for customer’s challenging curing environments while also delivering thethree-tiered benefits of UV LED curing (advanced capabilities, economic savings, and environmentallyfriendly). The FJ200 will be on display at the upcoming Drupa Trade Fair in Dusseldorf, Germany at the Phoseon stand9A46.About Phoseon TechnologyPhoseon Technology is a world leader in providing UV LED solutions for commercial and industrial applications.
