Intersil’s new low-voltage LDO linear regulators deliver industry’s lowest dropout voltages

Date Announced: 27 Jul 2012 75mV Dropout Voltage Permits Precision Regulation of Low Voltage Supply RailsMilpitas, CA – Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select: ISIL) today announced a new series of ultra-low dropout linear regulators that delivers the industry’s lowest full-load dropout voltage.Intersil’s ISL80111, ISL80112 and ISL80113 are specified for 1A, 2A and 3A output currents, and are optimized for precision low voltage regulation. Each includes a very low resistance NMOS pass transistor, and the ISL80113 can deliver an ultra-low 75mV dropout voltage at 3A. The devices’ 1.6% output voltage accuracy, 80dB power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and 100uVrms noise result in exceptional output voltage regulation.
