Date Announced: 25 Oct 2012 Lextar Electronics Corp. (“Lextar” or the “Company”) (TAIEX: 3698) announces it will participate in the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair where it will display a number of product lines such as high CRI downlight series, bulb and spot light series, tube series, panel light series and light module series. Within all the products displayed, there will also be a variety of Lextar-made LED packaging products that have received LM-80 certification, displaying the strength of Lextar’s LED vertical integration from Epi, chip, package, module to lighting products. Lextar’s ultra high CRI 95 downlights, coming in 4-, 6- and 8-inch sizes, use the company’s own produced LM-80 certified 5630 LEDs with good saturated red color (R9) value of over 90. The high CRI downlights are compatible for various voltage requirements, perfect for merchandising display to optimize the visual impact of art craft, fresh fruit or meat. The single voltage downlights also features dimming function as well. The version for the US will be one of the highlights, which have been tested in confined spaces, and meet American UL standards. Within the bulb series, Lextar will debut “feather light” bulbs that weigh only 63 grams, omni-directional bulbs that range from 60-, 75- to 100-watt replacement versions. Additionally, Lextar’s “Moonlight Lamp” LED bulbs will be featured gradually light-on illumination, which not only helps for decreasing lighting discomfort on people’s eyes, but also pushes up the quality of LED lighting applications. The specially designed drivers do not require indoor rewire and dimmer installation. The “Moonlight Lamp” LED bulbs are not only suitable for home lighting such as in baby rooms, hallways and bedrooms, but can also be used in commercial spaces such as hotels, theaters and lecture halls to enhance overall lighting textures. In Lextar’s tube series, rotatable tubes will be featured to allow users to adjust the devices to preferred angle, which makes them highly useful for cupboards or showcases. There is also the enhanced Eco Tube series and specialized GX16 tubes for Japan that both come in a variety of sizes and color temperatures.In terms of the light module, there will be COB products, Zhaga module products, as well as blue emitter with high voltage chip and remote phosphor solutions. Besides, the 3014 and 5630 package products that have gone through LM-80 lifespan testing, have high stability and quality features, making them the most popular of lighting packaging products.
