Date Announced: 05 Sep 2012 Chengdu, China -- Philips (China) Investment Co., Ltd held the groundbreaking ceremony for its LED Professional Lighting Solutions manufacturing facility in Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone, which marks the bilateral cooperation between Philips and Chengdu following the LED strategic cooperation agreement made end 2011. Through the center, Philips will showcase its state-of-the-art lighting technologies, applications and solutions. The center will expose visitors, in live scenes, to experience the leading lighting technologies, concepts and solutions in different segments (such as hotel, shop, office, road and urban). In addition, Philips will practice testing and analysis for new applications here in the center, to enhance its capabilities to provide customers with innovative lighting solutions.
