Bettina Wilke is now overseeing product marketing for the LED lamps

Date Announced: 21 Sep 2012 Schwalbach/Ts. - Bettina Wilke is responsible for the product marketing of the LED lights area at Samsung, as of Juli 1, 2012.In her capacity as Product Marketing Manager, Bettina is tasked to design the strategy to increase awareness of the Samsung LED lights among both private and business clients.Apart from supporting the B2B sales activities through targeted marketing measures, Bettina¹s focus area also includes dialogue with private customers. "Especially that the traditional lights are no longer allowed on the market as of September 1, we have the opportunity to increase awareness about the best lightning alternatives³, explains Wilke. ³I¹m looking forward to getting our private users excited about the LED lights and to bringing our new Samsung LED lamps closer to them.²Bettina Wilke brings more than twelve years experience in the lightning industry. Before joining Samsung, she managed the Marketing Communications Department of the Indian lamps and luminaries manufacturer Havells Sylvania where she designed European marketing campaigns for halogen, low-energy and discharge lamps. Before that, she spent more that eight years at Osram, in particular as Regional Sales Manager for the General Lightning B2B Sales in Latin America and the NAFTA region.About Samsung LEDSamsung has a long-standing experience in the LED technology area and has been developing lightning solutions since 1995. Even the individual lamps components are mostly produced by Samsung itself. Samsung¹s offering in this area includes a wide portfolio of reliable, efficient long-life and high power LED lamps. Apart from solutions for the business clients, the portfolio now includes lamps for the private clients as well.
