wiHUBB operates on a Synapse Network Appliance Protocol (SNAP). Operating in a 900 MHz band, the system’s mesh network signals are able to easily reroute around obstacles. Non-mesh wireless systems cannot. The wiHUBB radios are FCC approved and will not interfere with any other wireless systems. The system uses the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-128), the same encryption technology utilized by the US government for secure data transmission. The wiHUBB Access Point also uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol, the standard for web security authentication.
