Online registration opens for LEDucation 8

The Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) is proud to announce that event registration for “LEDucation 8” is officially open. As the premier lighting event dedicated to advancing the education of the lighting community, LEDucation 8 will host its annual educational event and expo in New York City on March 18th and 19th, 2014. LEDucation 8 will be held in at the Sheraton NY Times Square hotel located at 811 7th Avenue at West 52nd Street, New York, NY in the heart of Midtown and will feature a distinct line up of informational educational sessions, as well as a newly expanded expo floor.

LEDucation has historically been the lighting industry’s largest single day exhibition and educational event dedicated solely to the ever evolving LED market and technology. This year, LEDucation has expanded to a new 2-day format and moved to a new location to handle the events continued expansion. Attendees will be able to participate in a variety of accredited educational seminars held throughout the day starting at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 18th and 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 19th. These sessions are led by a variety of industry experts and will address the latest issues, developments and hot topics of the LED lighting industry. In conjunction with the seminars, a product and technology expo will be open at 1:00 pm on Tuesday to 7:00 pm, and from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Wednesday. The cost of admission includes access to both the Seminars and Expo floor where attendees can view the latest LED luminaires, controls and energy efficient designs and advancements from over 220+ leading LED manufacturers.

Advance registration is $25 with online-registration now officially open at http://www.leducation.org. Admission is complimentary for DLF and IES members with pre-registration required. Hosted by the Designers Lighting Forum of New York, LEDucation has become one of the lighting industry’s most popular events. It has consistently grown over the years in size and importance and continues to attract record crowds and expects over 4,000 attendees in 2014.
