Jon Wellinghoff and Luca Mazzei join Daintree Networks advisory board

The new additions are Jon Wellinghoff, a partner at the law firm Stoel Rives LLP and former chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and Luca Mazzei, vice president of strategic marketing and product management for John Crane and former vice president at Honeywell Building Solutions. As part of Daintree's continued evolution, the company plans to leverage the collective expertise of its advisory board to assist with advancing its business model and integrated solution offerings, as well as its strategic channel and partner development.

Jon Wellinghoff is an internationally recognized energy law attorney and clean tech energy expert. He has nearly 38 years of leadership experience in federal and state energy policy, regulation and project development. The longest serving chair of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Jon was first nominated to be a FERC commissioner in 2006 by President George W. Bush and was reappointed in 2008. In March 2009, he was named FERC chairman by President Barack Obama. "At the federal and state levels, commercial energy efficiency regulations are coming online. I look forward to helping Daintree continue on its high-growth path and increase adoption of its smart building energy management solutions that deliver compliance, along with significant energy savings and load management," said Wellinghoff. Luca Mazzei is responsible for strategy, product management, pricing, marketing and communications at John Crane. Prior to joining the company in 2013, he was vice president of global strategy and marketing for Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS), where he developed the company's global growth strategy, while ensuring alignment of marketing activities with the sales and operations organizations. During this time, Mr. Mazzei also led Offer Management, with responsibility for managing the new offering development process in tight alignment with the Honeywell technology and labs organizations.
