Thomas Research Products supplies 39W LED driver with simplified configuration

Elgin, Illinois -- Thomas Research Products is excited to introduce a new programmable LED Driver. Thomas Research Products is a leading manufacturer of SSL power solutions.

The new LED39WPR series constant-current driver offers OEMs a flexible, easy way to reduce complex parts inventory. The key advantage of this product is simple programming--no computer workstation or software tools are required. Output current is selectable from 190mA to 700mA by simply plugging in the appropriate resister. This means configuring can be done on the production line.

TRP's new driver is designed for use in downlight luminaires and includes 0-10V dimming. It offers flicker-free output, with high power factor and low THD. A thermal sensor can also be added to roll back output under hot conditions.

This model accepts universal 120-277Vac input, and is Class 2 UL recognized. A metal case provides good thermal performance in dry or damp locations. The driver is backed by the company's standard 5 year warranty.

All LED Drivers from TRP offer high quality, long life, high efficiency and are cost-competitive. Information can be found on the company's website. LED39WPR availability begins by end 1Q 2015.
