LGI Technology launches 7W LED MR16 lamp that produces 500-lm output

Nov. 17, 2014
SAN Fernando Valley, CA – LGI Technology, the Los Angeles-based, Commercial grade LED lighting manufacturer, proudly announces the launch of its new 7W MR16 LED Pro lamp. This is the latest addition to LGI’s line up.

Equipped with a CREE COB LED, the LED Pro MR16 produces 500 Lumens and easily replaces a 50W Halogen. “Other manufacturers claim 50W replacement, but only a few will do the job” Product Manager Rob Setian said. “The Energy Star Certification proves the legitimacy of this product.”

Fully dimmable using an approved list of dimmers, the LED Pro MR16 is the same size as a halogen and will fit in most MR16 fixtures. Heat dissipation is not a concern since the aluminum housing is also the heat sink and the open design helps to strip away heat, keeping it thermally cool.

The product is shipped from LGI’s USA facility and is available now in 7W, 3000K and 5000K. The 120V GU10 version is scheduled to be released first quarter of 2015.
