It is designed to spread the heat from the LED and integrated driver into the fixture, overcoming the thermal issues associated with LED MR16 lamps. Three engine inserts are available, one each for 20/35/50W equivalency. Beam spread is field changeable via an easy-to-remove and insert optic assembly.
