As the premier lighting event dedicated to advancing the education of the lighting community, LEDucation 8 will take place in New York City on March 18th & 19th, 2014 in a new two-day expanded event at the Sheraton NY Times Square hotel.
“LEDucation has added an even more diverse session offering for the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced attendee during a total of 8 course offerings being held during the new two-day format,” commented Speaker Chair, Wendy Kaplan of Feelux Lighting. “A special session on Tuesday morning is new to this year’s event and is designed specifically to meet the needs of the Interior Designer. We are offering Interior Designers the opportunity to become more familiar and comfortable with the new LED technologies, learn how LED’s correlate to traditional lighting and light sources and how this information can be applied to residential and commercial applications. We also have a variety of presentations that can help attendees learn to work more efficiently and effectively with LED technology in their projects from both a design perspective, as well as a controls platform. All of our topics cover current hot issues in the LED market including the current and future state of LED fixture development to the financial aspect and challenges of working with LEDs.”
