Date Announced: 28 May 2008 LAS VEGAS, Lightfair International, Booth 794, (May 28, 2008) — DDP, a leader in engineered LED solutions, has applied decades of LED industry experience to the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art LED fixtures that meet the demands of the architectural lighting community. The new energy-efficient LED product family, designated Emerge LED Lighting, features solid-state lighting products to meet the critical needs of architectural lighting designers and specifiers.Part of the Emerge LED Lighting product family, the LED WashGraze® is a customizable, linear wall wash LED lighting system that combines a stylish look with a rugged, high-performance design. The energy-efficient architectural lighting system features advanced optics with adjustable viewing angles for both washing and grazing of walls. Ideal for interior and exterior applications, the LED WashGraze can withstand the most challenging environmental conditions including rain, shock, vibration and temperature extremes. “We launched Emerge LED Lighting to develop products specifically to meet the demands of the architectural lighting community. Given our experience in designing solid-state lighting solutions and the growing demand for energy-efficient lighting, this was a natural path for us,” said Tony Toniolo, DDP President. Among the new Emerge LED Lighting products that DDP is currently developing is the LED CoveLink — a low-profile linear fixture designed for small cove and display lighting applications. The LED CoveLink is a highly customizable system available in one and two feet lengths with flexible connectors. Variable beam and color temperatures are specifiable. The LED CoveLink is enclosed in a durable, extruded acrylic .57" x .76" housing. It is supplied with a unique mounting bracket allowing rotation up to 180 degrees. The LED CoveLink will be available in 3Q08.Future Emerge LED Lighting products also include solid-state spot lighting with specifiable viewing angles, and modular LED light tiles ideal for backlighting effects.
