The debut of the PENTAS marks an industry breakthrough as it is the first fixture on the market to feature a removable, consumer-grade LED light engine.The PENTAS track lighting fixture reflects Journée’s ongoing commitment to bringing bold and stylish LED-based fixtures to the forefront of the lighting industry’s multi-billion dollar general illumination sector. Additionally, as the LED reaches the end of its usable life, it can be replaced in a lower-cost manner than replacing the entire light fixture. With a simple clockwise twist, Journée’s new OEM LAMP MODULE connects to the light fixture housing electrically and thermally. Once installed, the OEM LAMP MODULE effectively transfers heat from the LED directly into the light fixture housing via Journée’s Thermal Conduction Technology™. Drawing only 16 watts and producing a beam of light equivalent to 40 watts of an incandescent bulb, the Journée PENTAS makes energy-efficient track lighting a reality. The PENTAS also joins Journée’s LOTUS as the only LED-based luminaires on the market equipped with on-board WattageAdjust®, which offer users a choice of settings from a high-power, pure white LED source. This unique feature provides users with the flexibility to toggle between three adjustable (6W, 11W and 16W) brightness settings.In addition, the PENTAS is designed to comply with California’s Title 24, federal EnergyStar® standards and U.S. Green Building Council LEED standards being adopted across the country.Offered in an anodized aluminum finish with seven color options, Journée’s PENTAS has been developed to address the museum, retail, hospitality and residential marketplace lighting needs.
