Forge Europa's CEO Peter Barton named International Director of the Year

Date Announced: 15 Nov 2008 Peter Barton was honoured with the International Director of the Year for the North West award by the Institute of Directors (IoD) in a ceremony at the Manchester City stadium, hosted by well-known sports presenter Gabby Logan. Peter said: "I was delighted. It's very nice to receive such a prestigious award and to get something that your peers have decided you deserve. I am the figurehead, but it really is a reflection of the company's efforts and achievements."Darrell Matthews, North West Regional Director for the IoD, commented that "The number of nominations has been a record this year and every individual was of an exceptionally high calibre.
