Johnson Matthey to supply hydrogen purifier to Super Nova Optoelectronics

Date Announced: 07 Aug 2008 WEST CHESTER, PA – Johnson Matthey Gas Purification Technology (GPT) group, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of highly reliable bulk and point-of-use purifiers, announced today that they have supplied a PSH-30 hydrogen purifier, capable of flowing 30 Nm3/hr. to Super Nova Optoelectronics Corporation (www.supernovaopto.com) in Ping Cheng City, Taiwan. The purifier will be installed in their fab located at the Ping Cheng Industrial Park, where they manufacture high-brightness blue, green & blue/green LED chips. Johnson Matthey’s Taiwanese sales & service agent – Pionics Technology -- handled the sale.Super Nova Optoelectronics was established in 2002 with experts in development, construction, production & marketing and has the leading epitaxy technology for GaN based devices.
