Valued at over USD 450,000, the contract for award included evaluation of the ADB/Carmanah technical approach, history of performance in the field and system price.The US DoD customer will use the lights to support NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) rotary wing aviation operations in Regional Command East. The opportunity includes threshold, caution, runway edge, and taxiway lights, along with related accessories. All airfield lights will be controlled using a wireless handheld controller and will be mounted on non-slip mobile tiles ensuring maximum flexibility for future missions or during airfield expansion or improvements.
