Date Announced: 19 May 2011

Mountain View, Calif. - Daintree Networks, Inc., a leading provider of innovative wireless control solutions for energy-smart buildings, today announced that four new companies have joined its ControlScope Connected Partner Program. Designed to encourage vendor collaboration and development, Daintree works with industry-leading lighting vendors to create interoperability between third-party products, as well as with the company’s own ControlScope wireless lighting control platform. This announcement follows the program’s successful January 2011 launch with five initial members.

“The growth of Daintree Networks’ ControlScope Connected program is a testament to the value of interoperable, standards-compliant lighting controls solutions,” said Danny Yu, CEO, Daintree Networks. “Along with our partners, we are committed to making wireless lighting controls pervasive within commercial buildings, and enabling leading products to work together seamlessly is a critical step towards this goal.”

In addition to the program’s initial members, ControlScope Connected partners now include:

* A.L.P. Lighting Components, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of lighting components, offering a diverse line of products for lighting OEMs and the aftermarket.
* Lumiversal, a full-service lighting-solution provider based in San Jose, CA, comprised of experts dedicated to the development of innovative technologies that improve energy efficiency in lighting systems, the single largest consumer of electricity worldwide.
* Lunera® Lighting, creating award-winning LED luminaires that reduce energy consumption, eliminate maintenance costs, and offer a sustainable solution to deliver beautiful, near daylight illumination to commercial facilities.
* Waldmann Lighting, a leader in LED, fluorescent and halogen lighting solutions for a diverse range of architectural, office, medical and industrial applications, indoor and outdoor.

Through the ControlScope Connected program, Daintree Networks has brought together a community of standards-based products that can co-exist on a single intelligent wireless lighting network, managed centrally by the company’s ControlScope software platform. Daintree’s growing partner ecosystem includes companies that have built a variety of products for the lighting industry – sensors, wall switches, ballasts, LED drivers and more, and can utilize the ZigBee wireless standard for communications. This ensures that all devices work together across large-scale lighting networks, reducing lighting energy usage by up to 70 percent and future-proofing customer investments.

As part of the program, members receive access to technical and design assistance, as well as ongoing sales and co-marketing opportunities. To learn more about ControlScope Connected, visit www.daintree.net/partners.

Daintree and its partners will be demonstrating interoperability at the LIGHTFAIR International tradeshow and conference this week in Philadelphia, with a single control system wirelessly managing multiple booths and a variety of vendors’ products.
