Date Announced: 15 Apr 2011 Science Storms is a 26,000 sq ft exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. Evidence Design was the Lead Exhibit Designer and we designed the Architectural and Exhibit Lighting. We helped create the blue wrapper of LEDs behind metal mesh which helps each exhibit stand out. There are 50 exhibits including a 40’ Tornado, 20ft diameter spinning Avalanche Disk, 10’ x 10’ Heliostat / Skylight and the Ripple Tanks, which are suspended 20ft off the floor and illuminated from the ceiling so that sharp images of the ripple patterns are projected on the guests.
