(GHTOT) successfully produced another two 100kgs scale sapphire crystals on Oct. 21, one of which weighs 105kgs and become the largest sapphire crystal in Asia.This is the first batch of sapphire crystal products that GHTOT cooperating with GT Advanced Technologies (GTAT), the top US NASDAQ listed solar and sapphire equipment supplier, and which adopts the most advanced sapphire crystal growth technology and equipment. The successful production of the four 100kg-scale sapphire crystals marked a critical success of GHTOT in the manufacture of large-size sapphire crystal substrate materials, and will fill in the gap of quantity production of large-size sapphire crystal growth in domestic market, which will make China the fourth country of the world owning large-size sapphire crystal growth and processing technologies.On the Grand Opening Ceremony of the 100kg-scale LED sapphire crystal project on Oct. 26, leaders from the provincial Party committee and provincial government of Guizhou, The municipal Party committee and municipal government of Guiyang, leaders at other levels, partners, media and Tom Gutierrez, GTAT's President and CEO, commonly witnessed this largest sapphire crystal of Asia and the signing ceremony of GHTOT and downstream customers.Dr. Yong Ji, GHTOT's Chairman of Board and CEO, said: "We are very happy that we've chosen GTAT as our strategic partner.
