Lutron’s PowPak dimming module with EcoSystem receives 2011 Lightfair Innovation Award

Date Announced: 06 Jun 2011 Coopersburg, Pa — Lutron’s PowPak dimming module with EcoSystem is the winner of the 2011 LIGHTFAIR International Innovation Award for the category of Controls, Daylight Integration and Systems.Light control manufacturer Lutron Electronics Co., Inc., proudly introduced the new PowPak load controllers at the 2011 LIGHTFAIR International Trade Show. These innovative devices mount to a junction box or lighting fixture and receive wireless communications from Radio Powr Savr® (RPS) sensors and Pico® wireless controls via Lutron reliable Clear Connect™ Radio Frequency (RF) technology. They are part of the new Energi TriPak® family of products that sense, control and adjust loads to save energy in a space.The PowPak dimming module with EcoSystem is a wireless control that operates up to 32 EcoSystem, EcoSystem H-Series, or Hi-lume® 3D ballasts or Hi-lume A-Series LED drivers. It provides the ability to easily configure lighting zones making it ideal for applications that require space flexibility. This module is ideal for retrofit applications in classrooms, private offices, conference rooms and other single area spaces that are looking for a cost-effective solution to lighting control.
