Lighting Science Group introduces Glimpse LED downlight

The downlight features improved thermal design and reduced materials of construction for overall lower cost of assembly. The Glimpse low-profile form allows compatibility with most 5- and 6-inch recessed downlight cans. The luminaire is dimmable to 5% of output. The LED-based Glimpse's downlight enables a reduction of energy usage of up to 80% and a lifetime of 50,000 hours. The company released a PDF with product details and installation instructions.The light fixture is simple to install and is equally suitable for commercial retrofit or new construction applications. It is compliant with California's Title 24 Residential code.
