CLGL and Marina d’Or of Spain close deal for LED lighting retrofits

Clemens, MI -- Marina d’Or of Spain—a six billion dollar enterprise offering a wide range of vacation and leisure accommodations—has just received multiple shipping containers of LED lights from Michigan-based LED lighting manufacturer Clean Light Green Light (CLGL) for the most extensive lighting retrofit of Spain’s vacation and leisure property sector which will result in substantial revenues for both companies.CLGL was identified as the LED manufacturer of choice almost a year ago by the Marina d’Or Renewable Energy division after their engineering team conducted exhaustive testing on products from 30 world-wide LED vendors. This shipment represents the first significant purchase through this alliance between the two companies, and is slated for comprehensive retrofits of all of Marina d’Or’s hotel holdings in Spain including the Gran Duque, several restaurants and a casino. Spain continues to lead in energy efficiency initiatives in Europe as well as globally. In April of this year the Spanish government revealed an energy-efficiency plan that specifically addresses LED retrofits as one of the targeted measures to save nearly €11.48 billion ($16.4 billion), and reduce greenhouse-gas emissions by 36.4 million tons by 2020.
