Such concerns include ensuring sufficient light for players as well as spectators, while also avoiding any distracting glare.The project began in May, and involved the replacement of 40 1000W CDM units by a 196W LUXEON® based LED lighting system. Using LUXEON Rebel ES LEDs, the new system yields significant improvements in lumen output, energy savings, while offering a longer lifetime and lower energy consumption. Working closely with Future Lighting Solutions’ engineers and using their online simulation tools throughout the design process, ultimately determined the best lighting system for the installation.
