Lightfair International already 99% sold out for May 2012 show in Las Vegas

Date Announced: 04 Nov 2011 Atlanta — LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL (LFI) will connect tens of thousands of lighting professionals with more than 475 world-renowned exhibitors at the lighting industry’s premier event taking place May 7-11, 2012 in Las Vegas. Already the show is 99 percent sold out, a strong testament to its strength and importance in the architectural and commercial lighting industries.Returning to the West Coast from its record-breaking 2011 performance at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, LFI, the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, is on track to expand its exhibitor base and featured pavilions across more than 200,000 square feet of trade show floor space. While LFI is already poised for its largest show to date, it is prepared to exceed projected 2012 growth.For 2012, the show floor will be enhanced by the launch of a fifth pavilion; all pavilions are designed to showcase cutting-edge style and innovative design, launch new products and reveal new technological advances to the global architectural and commercial lighting industry.The five pavilions are• Building Integration Pavilion: Launched in 2010, this area features companies displaying solutions and products used to maximize and create energy-efficient buildings.• Daylighting Pavilion: The trade show's counterpart to LFI’s educational Daylighting Institute, this pavilion focuses on architectural daylighting, daylight harvesting, energy efficiency and conservation, solar shading and natural light. • Design Pavilion: Style is the name of the game – High Style – in this pavilion that showcases the latest in modern and classic decorative lighting.• Global Light + Design Pavilion: Welcome to the world’s finest decorative lighting designs from internationally recognized manufacturers based outside the USA.• New Exhibitor Pavilion: Launching in 2012, this pavilion features first-time exhibitors from around the globe showcasing their products and technological advances for the architecture and commercial industry.Combined, these pavilions provide an all-encompassing showcase of the world’s leading lighting designs and innovations in a dynamic environment where attendees can be stimulated, educated and inspired.The show floor is complemented and supported by an unparalleled lineup of educational programming in the LIGHTFAIR Conference and Institutes.
