Scheduled for November 8-11 2011, this year, within the context of its supporting programme, the leading industry trade fair for the lighting industry offers an even greater variety of exhibitors and exciting novelties on more than 12,000 m² of exhibition space. Promising prospectsAfter the global crisis, Interlight Moscow 2010 was able to seamlessly follow on the success of the trade fair of 2008: with 430 exhibitors coming from 25 countries and a net area of 10,384 m², the figures have once again reached pre-crisis levels. When taking a look at the visitor numbers, this trade fair was even able to increase the figures by an impressive 52%: in 2010 a total of 26,635 professional visitors attended Interlight Moscow. The yardstick for the year 2011 is quite high – in particular as the forecasts for the Russian lighting market have so far been positive in every respect. However, not only can both exhibitors and visitors of the show rely on excellent business potential, but they can also look forward to the first-class supporting programme organized by the trade fair. As it will be offering an even greater variety of themes this year, there can be no doubt that Interlight Moscow is steadily heading toward the next visitor record.In addition to this, this year’s list of exhibitors is raising the visitors’ expectations even further. Major industry players such as the BL Group, Eglo Leuchten, Makel, Osram and Siteco ensure top notch international class and underline thw show’s leading position on the Russian market.With the sponsorship of a joint German stand, the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology has already repeatedly distinguished Interlight Moscow as the leading trade fair in Russia.Automation of buildings – the new subject area in the supporting programmeOwing to strong demand, the theme of building automation shall be expanded consistently in the coming years. With Messe Frankfurt, the organiser of light+building, Interlight Moscow has a strong partner on its side in the successful implementation of this project. The cornerstone for the expansion of this subject area will already be laid this year – exhibitors who are focussed on the area of building automation will be found in greater numbers, and what is more, in the course of the supporting programme this topic will also be given separate attention. In the field of architecture, Interlight Moscow further continues the expansion of its existing portfolio. Workshops and talks with well-known major industry players once again constitute an integral part of the programme. In conjunction with the classic theme areas such as decorative lighting, technical lighting, LED and outdoor & architecture lighting, one is thus offered an innovative, integrated information package.Countdown: the agenda for the LED ForumThe LED Forum definitely is an absolute highlight of this show, and in 2011 it will be held for the fifth time. As the most important specialist conference in the field of LED in Russia and the CIS-countries, every year again, it attracts decision-makers and branch experts alike.
