Chicago-based company lands first business agreement with Brasilia's new administration

Date Announced: 21 Mar 2011 Naperville, Ill. - PolyBrite International, Inc., a Chicago, IL based developer of energy efficient LED lamps and light systems, announced that on March 11, 2011, it signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement (TCA) with the Federal District Government of Brasilia, Brazil. This is the first TCA entered into by Governor Agnelo Queiroz's new administration. The Federal District desires to implement an energy efficient street lighting system prior to the 2014 FIFA World Cup. In support of the Agreement, PolyBrite is expected to create jobs in both Illinois and Brasilia.Carl Scianna, President and CEO of PolyBrite International, Inc. said, "This is just the beginning of an important relationship between PolyBrite and the Government of Brasilia. The facility will assemble PolyBrite's energy efficient LED products for use throughout the Federal District of Brasilia, Brazil and the rest of South America.
