Xeleum LED troffers and stairwell fixtures improve lighting quality at long-term care hospital

Date Announced: 06 Dec 2013 MERIDIAN, Miss.--Rush Foundation Hospital announced that it has successfully installed Xeleum LED lighting in its long-term acute care hospital that offers long-term choices for non-permanent patients who require extended recovery time within a hospital setting. The overall program was managed by Southern LED Solutions, a division of Mitchell Companies located in Meridian, Mississippi. Zach Moore, Account Executive for Southern LED Solutions stated, “After a long and thorough evaluation of available LED lighting products, we selected Xeleum troffers and stairwell lighting fixtures not just because they represented the highest construction and photometric quality available at any price but also because the compelling return on investment analysis based upon these products ensured that the hospital was putting its resources to the best possible use.” In total 1,473 fluorescent troffers were replaced with Xeleum Titanium LED architectural lay ins in both 3,500 and 4,000 Kelvin temperatures and 53 Athena Series two foot stairwell fixtures with integral emergency backup were supplied to add safety and security to Rush Hospital’s stairwells.
