The move is the result of Kenall’s success in providing durable luminaires employing traditional lamp sources and, more recently, LED technology and controls. Kenall has incorporated solid state lighting into each of the market segments they serve, providing industry-leading products for high abuse, healthcare, sealed enclosure, correctional, transportation, parking and food processing applications. The soon-to-be newly constructed 354,000 square-foot manufacturing facility, located in Kenosha, WI., will allow Kenall adequate space to remain responsive to customer needs, support long term-growth projections and create employment opportunities. In addition, 13 acres adjacent to the building are included for potential future development. The new facility will include state-of-the-art machinery and equipment for fabrication, finishing and assembly capabilities, a certified UL testing facility, an interactive showroom and a dedicated training center. Groundbreaking is likely to occur in 2013, with expected occupancy within 18-24 months.
