It is a neutral, independent, not-for-profit association created to promote lighting solutions that benefit society and businesses in developing and emerging markets. GOGLA supports industry in the market penetration of clean, quality alternative lighting systems.The partnership represents an excellent opportunity to share competences and expertise, particularly in relation to the development of off-grid networks. Additionally, as Jan Denneman, president of the Global Lighting Association states, "Both organizations share a commitment to the development and promotion of sustainable energy efficient solutions for lighting.
