Officially unveiled to the industry today, Highlite is a close proximity single color solid-state solution. Weighing in at just 8 ounces and showing off in four distinct colors, Highlite fits your vision and application, whether it be an alcove or an entire building.The Highlite is comprised of 15 quarter-watt LEDs resulting in vibrant uniform color throughout the entire unit. The fixture is available in the following colors: red, green, blue and 5500°K White (5000°K to 9000°K available upon request).The size factor is the biggest accomplishment with the Highlite. SACO engineers have managed to engineer a high performance fixture that is only 0.4 inches (1.0 cm) wide and 0.47 inches (1.2 cm) tall - by far the smallest fixture in Illumivision’s ever expanding portfolio. Available in one foot sections, the 15 LEDs are spaced evenly at 0.79 inches (2.0 cm) centers.An outdoors installation is not a threat for the Highlite. With water and other elements wreaking havoc on other solid-state solutions, the outdoors sounds like a less-than-safe environment for complex electronics. Fear not – Highlite will go everywhere you want to install it. With a water resistant option, all of the integral parts are coated with a water resistant epoxy which allows for minor intermittent splashes of water. Highlite deserves a place in any application.
