Eagle Star House, Belfast, home to Urban HQ, brings a fresh all-inclusive approach to flexible workspaces. Designed to attract both freelancers and international businesses, their recent refurbishment has created a beautiful, vibrant workplace that drives productivity, inspiration, and collaboration.
Over the last few years, the concept of flexible workspace has taken off in the city. With 500 desks over eight floors, covering 30,000 sq ft, Eagle Star House has been conceived to feel more like a hotel than an office with a level of sophistication and detail to rival anything currently available in other major cities.
The revamped flexible offices feature co-working space, meeting rooms, lounges, a large roof terrace, with areas for events and networking; all finished to the highest specification.
Concord by Sylvania Lighting was specified by Mechanical and Electrical consultants Simpson and Crawford who were tasked with providing a highly aesthetic scheme.
Mini Continuum graces the main offices and lobby with clean horizontal lines of homogenous light. Its trimless construction is seamless, casting no shadows, just beautiful light to work under. Both recessed and suspended variants have been used throughout.
A combination of Myriad and Ascent downlights add sparkle and interest in the breakout areas, meeting rooms, and stairwells. Start Flex LED is integrated into a channel along the corridors to add a touch of glamour and prestige.
