  • Results in fast and easy installation
  • Offers energy savings of up to 65%

Eindhoven, the Netherlands – Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the world leader in lighting, has introduced its new Philips TrueForce LED highbay universal lamps that are easy to install, save energy with low initial investment and are particularly suitable for industrial use, in warehouses, and retail areas. As such, LEDs can have a meaningful contribution to the European Green Deal and accelerate the adoption of more sustainable technologies. The lamp is the first universal HID replacement product in the market enabling installers to switch to LED without worrying about the type of installation or ballast, resulting in a fast and hassle free installation.

Ipsen, the leading global supplier of heat treatment systems with production sites in Europe, America and Asia, has installed TrueForce LED highbay lamps at its production facility in Kleve, Germany.

“We’ve chosen Signify’s LED products because the TrueForce LED lamps are much more energy efficient than the conventional lamps we had. TrueForce LED lamps easily fit into our existing system, thereby providing an easy way of enhancing the light quality without having to change the light fixtures or sacrifice the light effect. The fact that the ignitor as well as the conventional ballast can both still be used, is a major plus,” said Georg Segers, Production Manager, Ipsen International GmbH.

“With the new Philips TrueForce LED highbay universal lamps, we offer our customers energy savings of up to 65% while keeping the existing fixture. The customer can choose to keep the existing gear in the fixture for an easy replacement or decide to connect to mains for additional energy saving. Both types of connections are possible with the same lamp. The multiple beam angle options and high color rendering index enhance the lighting distribution while creating a comfortable, safe and high productivity environment,” said Frederic Bociaga, Global Head of Product Management for Professional Lamps at Signify.

Philips TrueForce LED lamps provide an easy LED solution to replace HID lamps, highbay lamps, SOX lamps as well as SON-T lamps. Benefits of LED are improved energy efficiency and long lifetime, while keeping initial investment low. Signify’s highest standard LED technology ensures low maintenance and has up to a five-year warranty.
