Oct. 7, 2020

Montréal, Québec, Canada - Sollum Technologies is pleased to announce that Margaret Ingratta is joining the company as Chief agronomist. She will contribute to the growth of our operations thanks to more than 30 years of experience working for horticulture industry leaders like DeRuiter Seeds and Rijk Zwaan Seeds.

Mrs. Ingratta sees adjustable lighting technology opening new possibilities for greenhouse producers. She shares our view that Sollum’s unique smart LED lighting solution, which dynamically recreates and modulates the full spectrum of the Sun’s natural light, is a game-changing technology for producers because it delivers on increased productivity and energy savings, among other benefits. In addition, the technology's ability to create an unlimited number of adaptable light recipes, thanks to Sollum’s SUN as a Service® plaform, will help Canadian growers improve quality and deseasonalize an ever more diverse production.

Mrs. Ingratta’s extensive work with producers in the Leamington, Ontario area will improve Sollum’s service offering. As Sollum’s point person in the area, she will collaborate closely with its partners to ensure that its smart lighting solution is deployed and utilized as effectively as possible for the varieties of produce under cultivation. That market proximity, coupled with Mrs. Ingratta’s expertise, will enhance the company’s research capabilities and recipe iteration process.

“We’re very excited to welcome Margaret Ingratta to the Sollum family,” says Sollum President and CEO Louis Brun. "Her research and development background and her extensive network within Ontario’s greenhouse industry make her an invaluable addition to our team. Welcome Margaret!”
