Production of LED SMD 2835 with High Color Rendering Index: Ra99

July 30, 2019

The Color Rendering Index (CRI) is a scale from 0 to 100 percent indicating how accurate a "given" light source is at rendering color when compared to a "reference" light source. The higher the CRI, the better the color rendering ability.

Now “Pars Saman Iranian Co.”, as the first and only in Iran and the Middle East, achieves to produce LED SMD with High Color Rendering Index, Ra 99. The Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) of the model which is presenting is from 2300 up to 2500 Kelvin (K) with 0.5W power and the luminous flux of 31lm (Model: SW-S2835WW25D31-Y150). The LEDs with this excellent value of CRI are suitable for many applications such as lightening products for museum, gallery, carpet store, medical equipment, etc. The most important features and standards which are considered are: A) High color rendering index (CRI: 96.93) Ra99, R9:98, B) Compliant to LM-80 standard, C) Uniform light source, and, D) Compliant to 3-Step MacAdam ellipses color binning. The x and y axes are 0.4718 and 0.4028 as the chromaticity coordinates with the voltage amount of 3.217V and the current of 150mA.

It is noteworthy that this model of LED with the mentioned CRI is tested in Slit Lamp and had positive results. This innovation paves the way for more researches and novelty for us in the field of technology. We Won’t Stop!
