As well as reporting strong growth, Permlight has added to its management staff, launched a new website and is hosting an LED applications conference.
Permlight Products has announced that it is seeing rapid growth thanks to a strong position in the sign industry and a diversified market strategy serving other areas.

The company says that it has seen greater than 200% revenue growth, combined with record profitability.

"We recently shipped nearly one hundred miles of our White Twiste'R LED lighting system to light the rebranded Sprint/Nextel logo and the conversion of Bank1One banks to the CHASE bank brand," said Manuel Lynch, president and CEO of Permlight Products.

"We attribute our rapid profitable growth to our leading position in the sign industry and to our diversified market strategy of serving theaters and performing arts centers, retail and residential lighting, boating/marina and outdoor lighting applications," continued Lynch. "We are having great design win success in all areas."

Recent wins in the residential new construction market have placed Permlight LED systems in new homes throughout Southern California. The first homes incorporating the company's Enbryten line of pathway, under cabinet, and recessed down lights have move-in dates before the end of 2005.

Permlight also announced the start off its third LightItUp LED Systems application conference, an invitation-only event that has attracted over 150 companies. The event, co-sponsored by Cree, Nichia, Osram and Underwriters Laboratory, explores the vast and varied applications where LEDs are used and how to assess the payback for an LED system in end applications.

Permlight has recently expanded its management team to include Fernando Lynch, VP of Sales, who was previously with Sunset Lighting where he managed lighting services for Disney, BCBG, Cheesecake Factory and several other national retail and banking chains.

Light My Space.com

Permlight Products announced today that it has launched a new interactive website for communicating to potential users of LEDs the vast and varied applications where its energy efficient systems can and have been used.

LightMySpace.com is an interactive virtual world that walks users through virtually every end application for lighting and shows how LEDs can be effectively used. The initial site walks users through Permlight’s extensive showrooms but will be expanded shortly with real world installations of LED systems.

“LED systems continue to emerge as a rather disruptive technology in the conventional lighting world,” commented Mark Stanley, Chief Information Officer of Permlight. “We thought it best to use the latest communication tools to share with our community of users how they can further their use of LED systems in everything from homes, to offices, to a hotel hallway and even an outdoor street scene.”
