Super Vision constructs LED and fiber-optic training center

Sept. 7, 2005
Super Vision is to open a training center for building owners, architects, lighting designers and distributors.
Super Vision International, a manufacturer of fiber-optic and LED lighting systems, announced today that it will open its new state-of-the-art LED and fiber-optic training center for its customers and distributors in October of this year.

"This project is focused on showcasing Super Vision's expanding line of new SaVi(TM) brand LED lighting systems and controls, as well as the latest in fiber-optic lighting products, to our customers," stated Mike Bauer, Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

In addition to a 64-seat modular classroom, the center features retail, commercial and signage application vignettes where building owners, architects, lighting designers and distributors can see the actual products installed in their specific applications.

"This is one of the best ways we know to introduce and train our distributors and customers on the technical features and benefits of our new products, show multiple applications, and teach installation techniques," said Bauer.

The facility also includes interior and exterior residential applications including a full size pool, spa and landscape lighting to showcase Super Vision's new pool lighting and water feature technology, as well as a 30-feet-high mock building facade to simulate real world exterior commercial flood lighting and perimeter lighting applications.

Customers will come away feeling the power and impact that light, color and imagination can have on their lighting project and how Super Vision's products can make their building or home an unforgettable visual experience.

Completion is schedule just prior to the 2005 International Pool & Spa Expo (November 1-3, 2005) and the ETS-LDI Tradeshow and Conference (November 7-13, 2005), both of which are being held at the Orlando Orange County Convention Center located only 5 miles from Super Vision's facility.

Plans are being made for attendees and key customers at these trade shows to participate in a presentation and tour of the new training center while in town for the events.
