Vestel puts LED lighting lineup center stage at LuxLive 2016

Nov. 30, 2016
Returning to LuxLive after another year of breakthrough innovation and continued growth, multi-industry manufacturer, Vestel showcased its most dynamic and extensive LED lighting line-up yet, offering a wide range of lighting designs for multiple indoor and outdoor applications. Renowned for bringing more choice, diversity and value to the market, this relative newcomer introduced world-leading efficiency as well as countless, step-up lighting options including smart functionality and ultra-contemporary finishes.

Highlighting its potential to provide affordable, bang-on-trend lighting designs for all manner of housing projects, Vestel unveiled a whole new series of recessed downlights. This value-driven range not only offers higher Lumen outputs of up to 1800lm, but also the option of durable, aluminium designs and minimalist-inspired, diffused finishes for contemporary style homes.

As well as 1-way, 2-way and 3-way Gimble fitting grid lights, which can ensure lifetimes of up to 100,000 hours, the display included a new value-added range of easy-to-fit surface mounted downlights, which are ideal for beam ceilings as well as older and listed buildings. Compatible with DALI and other smart controls, this is an entirely future-proof series, allowing for possibilities, such as daylight sensor controlled LED lighting.

Offering some real competitive edge to councils, Vestel also highlighted its new potential to fulfil a whole range of garden lighting requirements. The expansive range included garden poles in warm as well as cool colours and LED spots which can last up to 50,000 hours. New ground-mounted aluminium bollards were also unveiled, offering asymmetric beam angles for more far-reaching, focused lighting.

Delivering the perfect blend of economy and design, the Turkish manufacturer also showcased its readiness to take on lighting projects for everything from large scale office complexes to retail outlets. As well as introducing a new collection of super-efficient 60 x 60cm backlit panel lights that can effectively work in air-conditioned spaces, Vestel introduced a series of LED linear lighting solutions. Ideal for continuous illumination across large indoor areas, such as aisles and airport lounges, this range offers contemporary diffused designs that are compatible with cascade connections.

For retail, the showcase included flexible and super-efficient LED track lights. Made to suit the fast-changing needs of a business, they come in a number of colour temperatures and beam angles.

An ultra-dynamic range of LED bars was also showcased in a range of 430mm-1700mm sizes. Perfect for a whole series of lighting effects, they are designed to work in homes as well as commercial premises. Perfect for highlighting everything from staircases to intricate design features, these long-lasting models also ensure soft and even illumination, working as cove lighting for household rooms, corporate offices and product showrooms.

Rapidly accumulating worldwide recognition for its show-stopping illumination, Vestel unveiled a whole suite of new, dynamic lighting. As well as RGB wall washers, which come with various lens and diffuser options, the display included an RGB projector that can generate up to 256 levels of colour. Offering so much more than decorative lighting, this versatile model works as a valuable business asset, providing companies with a cost-effective and on-going branding opportunity. Designed to illuminate logos, icons and branded areas, it enables businesses to preschedule colour-changing lighting displays thanks to its compatibility with DALI-DMX and other smart controls.

Visitors were also able to catch an exclusive first glimpse of Vestel’s new sports and arena floodlight, which offers a high Lumen output of 52,000lm.

The Vestel industrial lighting display was equally compelling. Designed for a whole range of factory complexes and retail chains, it encompassed everything from dimmer-compatible weather-proof battens to ATEX-certified canopies for hazardous locations. Vestel’s new series of round high bays were also on show for the first time. Providing a broader source of light for wide warehouse bays and break-out retail display areas, the LED round bay models are designed to be dust and shower-proof thanks to their IP65 ratings.

Still king of the road, Vestel unveiled its new Sardes series of street lights – an ultra-contemporary range which is thirty per cent more efficient than other street lighting, coming with efficacy levels of up to 145 Lm/W. Compatible with numerous smart control systems, Sardes is ideal for future-proofing council plans, not only allowing for prescheduled illumination, but also remote maintenance and even the day-to-day monitoring of nearby footfall and traffic.

Of LuxLive 2016, UK Head of Lighting, Vic Harasimow comments, “Hugely important, this year’s Show offered the perfect opportunity for us to showcase our growth and progress. We’re not just optimizing efficiency, but also the design and value on offer, creating a wider choice of smart-compatible lighting that can deliver exactly the look, colour temperature and lumen output characteristics that each individual project requires.”

Harasimow continues “Our huge manufacturing capacity as well as our close proximity to Europe not only enable us to keep production costs to a minimum, but also to beat other manufacturers to market with the latest, trendsetting finishes and designs.”
