Verde LED signs agreement to distribute Lifud LED drivers in Europe

Verde LED, which specialises in the design and manufacture of commercial energy saving LED lighting solutions, has announced a European distribution agreement with Lifud, one of the leading global manufacturers of LED drivers and power supplies, valued at more than €20m over the next 3 years.

This agreement sees Verde LED distribute Lifud’s range of high quality LED drivers throughout Europe as sole European distributors.

Lifud has grown to a €50m million business employing 1,300 people since being established in 2007. The key ingredients to its success have been producing high efficiency products with extremely low defect rates that offer customers guaranteed reliability in demanding environments.

CEO of Verde LED John Keohane outlined: “Verde LED have an ethos of supplying only premium products to our customers with proven quality and we are excited with this new venture to provide customers in Europe with industry leading LED power supplies from Lifud.”

Commenting on the agreement, CEO of Lifud Paul Chow had the following to say: “Lifud had been looking to expand into the European market with the right partner and after selecting Verde LED, we now have a partner that we can trust with the technical capabilities and infrastructure in place to facilitate exponential growth”.

Verde LED has grown exponentially since its established in late 2009 to become one of the largest suppliers of commercial and industrial LED products, selling to 23 countries globally.
