Peter V. Baker, CEO was asked to improve upon the night-time store lighting for Murphy Bed USA in Boca Raton, FL. Grasp showed the top 5 LED par lamps to the owners and suggested the Toshiba Par38 with 25 and 35 degree and 2700K. Over a period of 2 hours new track was installed and old incandescent A19s were removed.
The old foot candle measurements were 2FC and the new FCs measure 35 to 45FC at night. Old lamps at 180 watts were removed and replaced with 120 watts total and an area of 15' by 25' was lit for night traffic.
New clients now mention and visit the store. Grasp will do a similar installation at the Ft. Lauderdale location and give the owners time to reflect on the value of Toshiba PAR LEDs.
A future goal is to re lamp both facilities with PAR30s in the future.
