Columbia SC – Sensor Electronics Technology Inc, SETi, the world leader in UV LED development and manufacturing, located in Columbia SC, announced that Emmanuel Lakios has joined the company as President and CEO.

Mr. Lakios joins SETi with 30 years of technology and business management experience. Prior to joining SETi he held positions as President and COO of Imago Scientific Instruments and 20 years at Veeco Instruments Inc. where he held various senior management positions including President & General Manager of Process Equipment & President of Field Operations.

In his new role, Emmanuel will build upon the existing technical excellence and organization and will coordinate all company activities.

Emmanuel brings a strong track record in technology management, strategic market development, and operational performance. Mr. Lakios has over 30 years of experience in Semiconductor and equipment industry.
