Bridgelux expands its next generation Vero® Series products to include Vero SE LED arrays with poke-in connectivity enabled by BJB

LIVERMORE, California — Bridgelux, a leading developer and manufacturer of LED lighting technologies, will debut its new Vero SE LED arrays with poke-in connectivity at this year’s LIGHTFAIR International in San Diego, CA.

The new co-development initiative between Bridgelux and BJB will integrate an advanced array platform and holder system enabling poke-in wire connectivity with the flagship Chip on Board (COB) array product family from Bridgelux. The new Vero SE arrays are based on seventh generation technology, and will offer new improvements and innovation in ease of use, design flexibility and energy efficiency.

With poke-in connectivity, customers will benefit from simplified manufacturing and assembly processes. Secondary connector and holder components will not be required, and the integration of arrays into fixtures will be more streamlined without the need for soldering.

“We are excited to partner with BJB, an industry leader known for quality holders and connectors, to provide luminaire manufacturers with highly differentiated and innovative LED products that solve real problems,” said Aaron Merrill, VP of Product Marketing. “Bridgelux is focused on the development of high-quality, easy-to-use products that help our customers remain competitive in a fast-paced market.”

Like existing Vero Series products, Vero SE LED arrays will be offered with the industry’s only ten-year limited warranty, will include the same optical alignment holes, and will remain Zhaga compatible.

Vero SE is targeted to ship in Fall 2016. For more information, visit Bridgelux in booth 1937, and visit BJB in booth 3243 at LIGHTFAIR International!
