Ekamdeep Singh is yet another entrepreneur who started his company, IKIO LED Lighting, working out of a small garage in the US Midwest in 2014.
In the relatively short time since, Singh has led the operation to become the fastest-growing company in the state of Indiana and the second-fastest-growing manufacturing company in the Midwest, according to Inc.com. The company achieved 430% growth during the period from 2016–2018.
Singh’s team at IKIO LED has lauded his passion and leadership as he has grown the company to offer LED lighting across the application space indoors and out. Some of the latest work includes a patent-pending track-lighting system for retail applications, and high-bay luminaires that have paced the industry in efficacy reaching levels greater than 200 lm/W.
Singh earned an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Purdue University.
