As LEDs continue to penetrate the lighting market the major focus on ensuring quality has been on color quality and luminaire efficacy with little focus on quality of light in the space. When did we stop caring about good lighting? When did glare become acceptable? High luminaire efficacy is great but if the light isn't going where it is supposed to or worse, going where it shouldn't then what have we gained? This presentation will take a closer look at architectural LED lighting applications (good and bad) to see where things went wrong and how we can make them right.
