PURPOSE
This is a senior sales position focused on solutions and services selling to existing and new accounts. The ideal candidate will have proven success cultivating new business opportunities selling turnkey projects, solutions or services to customers.

SYLVANIA LIGHTING SERVICES (SLS), a subsidiary of OSRAM SYLVANIA is the largest lighting energy retrofit provider in North America. THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a senior sales position focused on solutions and services selling to existing and new accounts. The ideal candidate will have proven success cultivating new business opportunities selling turnkey projects, solutions or services to customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reach and exceed established quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Manage and close sales opportunities through forecasting, account planning and opportunity management
  • Drive new business with existing clients and develop additional sales opportunities with new clients
  • Drive sales using a solutions based selling approach creating financial value for customers
  • Establish and maintain key relationships at all levels including C suite
  • Learn and maintain an in-depth knowledge of latest OSI solid state products and services
  • Develop and sustain competitive knowledge on industry channels to be leveraged
  • The proven ability to sell from concept to solution leveraging a full spectrum of OSI products & services
  • The ability to clearly demonstrate clear financial value ROI to customers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8-10 years proven experience selling to the end user
  • Proven experience selling across a wide variety of networks, e.g., manufacturing, retail, healthcare and distributors.
  • Prior experience managing regional or national accounts
  • Prior experience in energy efficiency related industry
  • Proven ability to manage and drive sales with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical mindset
  • Self-motivated and resourceful personality
  • 50% travel requirement
  • Industry knowledge of lighting, preferred

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree at a minimum and Masters preferred
