Each new LUXEON® K array falls within a single 3-step MacAdam ellipse and delivers superior consistency in lumen per watt due to tight forward voltage and flux ranges . The compact, high-efficacy arrays are ideal for energy-efficient retrofit lamp and downlight applications that require high light output within a thermally and space constrained system. Philips Lumileds’ Freedom From Binning commitment ensures that every LUXEON K array is accurate to a single 3 SDCM. This ensures that each lamp and luminaire using LUXEON K arrays will deliver consistently precise color, brightness and lumens per watt. The result is a simplified system design and assembly that increases time to market and reduces costs associated with binning, logistics and inventory management. Additionally, LUXEON K exceeds ENERGY STAR® lumen maintenance requirements.The line also arms LED system designers and manufacturers with a wide variety of lumen, color and size options. Modules are available in 400- to 4,000-lumen outputs; 2,700K, 3,000K and 4,000K CCTs; and 4-, 8-, 12-, 16- and 24-emitter arrays.
