East Rutherford, NJ – April 13, 2010 – Traxon Technologies, a global leader in LED lighting systems, and Haver & Boecker, one of the world’s leading wire weaving companies, have joined in a strategic alliance to launch IMAGIC WEAVE, a fusion of stainless steel wire mesh and state of the art LED technology. The two industry experts combine knowledge and experience to develop the perfect scalable solution for various dimensions of media façade installations at airports, stadiums, shopping malls, skyscrapers, car parks, and other large buildings in any environment. The new transparent media façade IMAGIC WEAVE embellishes buildings with an outstanding shiny second skin and serves as an excellent and effective sunscreen to create unimaginable light experience.

Haver & Boecker, a leading wire weaving company with a global network of operations and manufacturing facilities and Traxon Technologies, a provider of innovative and sustainable LED lighting solutions, come together to bring a fully integrated and innovative solution to market. IMAGIC WEAVE allows the creation of stunning light experiences and offers promising return of investment possibilities when used as advertisement spaces. The first installation of IMAGIC WEAVE was finalized in August 2009 on the exterior façade of the Haver & Boecker headquarters in Germany.

“LED lighting technologies have been evolving at a tremendous rate, offering a convincing set of advantages including low energy consumption and high durability as well as the ability to generate a huge spectrum of different colors,” says the responsible product manager of Haver & Boecker. “We look forward to utilizing Traxon’s experience in sustainable and eco-friendly lighting solutions and creating customized lighting experiences for outdoor facades.”

Traxon’s control brand, e:cue lighting control, offers complimentary control products for the IMAGIC WEAVE such as the Video Micro Converter (VMC) for simple video integration of video content using DVI input and featuring a dedicated communication protocol (e:pix) specially designed by e:cue for improved control of the IMAGIC WEAVE. For sophisticated video lighting projects e:cue’s Lighting Control Engine offers countless capabilities to create astonishing video effects for the IMAGIC WEAVE. Fully outdoor rated (IP67), IMAGIC WEAVE incorporates Haver & Boecker’s high quality stainless steel wire mesh and Traxon’s advanced LED-technology.

“Our partnership with Haver & Boecker will utilize their precision manufacturing, experience in facades and the ability to modify their wire mesh to fit specific LED profiles, creating lighting spectacles,” says Mike Mastroyiannis, Managing Director of Traxon Technologies Ltd. “In addition, the alliance will see both companies utilizing their worldwide presence to support projects locally.”
